[Behind Enemy Lines]

OMG!!1 BEST GAME ON NG!!!!1

That was a great game, it was realy fun to play and never got slow or boring. Your best game definatly. Even though the game was great, the name "behind enemy lines" was a bit misleading hence I thought it was a WWII game. Great use of sprites too, liked the arcade kind of feeling. I wish that the laserbeams would have been made in sprites to. The yucky red lines kinda ruined abit of the style. Neat design of the ship and it was good that it rotated when you moved it. Oh yeah and Great music too. This game feels like an LSD rush. Frontpage next for you.

Nice concept, but it gets boring

I liked the graphics alot, but the sound got annoying. The actual game got boring pretty quick too.

Not bad freaker

The game is rather nice. An interesting twist of snake with cyberworms eating space insects hehe. Graphics were allright.

Music was good, I especially liked the guitar one, but I wish you control the music when you were in the actual game. Would be nice with some sound effects too.

Great Job!

I'm not sure if that is the punk I'm used to to hearing, sounded like some sort of Punkwannabes without vocals. Punk really is alot about the vocals and the message of the lyrics, not only the actual music. Maybe you should call it Rock-o-Matic instead, even if I don't really like the sound of that.

Having that said, you made a great job. I really liked how all the instruments went in synch with eachother. What I didn't like was that most of the songs you created sounded much the same, even if they were built up differently. I also miss a bassplayer. I think you have a great both musical talent and a good knowlage of flash and I think you have created a very good musicmaker in flash, propably one of the best ever made.

Yeah you're right that music isn't the only thing, and the new punk genre isn't bad itself in my opinion, only the themes and messages they deliver sucks ass, girls, money, boo hoo I'm sad....that kind of crap...it's alright to talk about love and girls for 1 song maybe (2 songs max...cause this shit happen in someone's life)...but when the whole fucking album is about being dropped by a girlfriend it sucks.

I don't think I can define what is punk, neither do you....what is it ? a state of mind ? the type of energy that emerges from the music ? the lyrics (sure..none here tho)...the riffs and the general sound...dunno...I do know I'm not a wannabe, I love punk music (not the pop-punk genre) and I play guitar with the inspiration I gathered from bands such as lagwagon, pennywise, offspring, reset, nofx so take it or leave it :) It's my still and I think it's punk enough to be called punk

This is a very very good engine, I really liked the graphics and the gameplay is awesome. Can't wait tl this be a real game. Like a 2D GTA...

The game is allright, but in my opinion the madness people have to much health nad the game is just very boring. I also doesn't like people that steal other people's characters.

Oh My Godness!

I must say. I really aint a big fan of spritemovies, since they are mostly pretty homo-erotic and made by some idiot that can't draw or animate properly. Also using sprite really isn't your own work, I mean you can make the sprites yourself, but you still steal the characters and their concept. I get the feeling that most spritemakers really just want to steal other peoples hard work and make it into their own.

I'm not calling you a theif though, I think you have made an exellent tribute to Sonic, rather rather then taking a free ride on his concept. It was not terribly huge, it was built up only with pictures and that wonderful music. Seeing me being the only one having a SEGA in my block, playing Sonic till my fingers bled this did bring back memories. It almost made my cry really. Greenhill Zone, Starlight Zone, Springyard Zone, Casinonight Zone, Metropolis... They are all there!

I do think that you could do so much more to improve this though. It would be quite better if you actually had some animation, and I personnaly think that it would look better if the pictures were faded under a black background. Heck, maybe if you have the skills you could also do something similar to the NG Museum- draw the pictures yourself in a stylish way, but still make fans recongnice themself.

Another thing I also missed with this was an accual "play button. It would be awsome if there were some sort of way that you could look at all the pictures from an acctual game in one seperate movie.

Thanks for making this movie. I really enjoyed it!

Kospas, thank you for a great review ! I must say that not only those, who can't draw, is creating sprite movies. It's totally different styles. I agree that sprite movies isn't your work. Anyway, not everybody can make movie from sprites. Just compare Randy Solem with any other sprite movie creator. There is always a room for improvements. Maybe you are right about black background, but I won't change it know. Sorry. I enjoyed reading your review. Thank you ! Good luck. Sonic 4ever ! ;)

Mycket kul

Dwt var ett mycket roligt spel. Grafiken var väl sådär, även fast vapnen var snyggt gjorda. Etär också ganksa enkelt, men det är väldigt roligt att spela och stilenär suverän.
